i'm not trying to be a •••• or anything but there is a sticky on the pkmn forum that is pretty useful for finding your friendcode, but what smashchu said is basicaly exactly what the thread said

To get your own Friend Code for Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum (Since its This Type of Thread), you go to Oreburgh City Pokemon Center to easily access the Bottom Floor.

When you go their, you might get the Pal Pad for a little finish with the introduction and talk to the person of the right door from the left of the person that given you the Pal Pad.

After that, say yes for connecting to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to get your Friend Code. And if its successful, you can check your Pal Pad and go to "Your Name's Friend Code" to see your Friend Code that you can put to your profile. You don't have to beat Roark to get your Friend Code that way.
