5th or 4th Gen?

Generally I dislike 5th Gen. I prefer 4th Gen it's more simpler to me and easier to use.
5th Gen has way too much content. I can't handle the amount of Pokémon in Black and White.

Neither. I prefer 1st and 2nd. 3rd was okay but 4 and 5 were awful.

But here's the thing, sure 4th gen was easier to master, but 5th gen brought new choices to the table, and sure some of those choices are terribad to use, but it's refreshing to see people using different Pokemon now.
In 4th gen most people battled with what is known as the Smogon OU tier list, which really got old fast, and the fact that there are more things that can happen in a battle in 5th gen is refreshing.

Also, sure the original Pokemon games were great, but it's not just a matter of how good a game was when I was like 6-7, it's more of the fact that back then I had only my brother to battle and all that stuff, so the fact that these latest Pokemon games are wifi enabled has been a blessing to me.

One last argument before I go to bed or something like that...The best things in life aren't easy, so if you thing battling in 5th gen is too hard, just get better at it, sure 4th gen is easier to use, but there aren't as many novelties in the 4th gen series, like in black and white Sturdy was made epic status against otko's and such, and sure weather got a massive upgrade with the perma-weather inducers getting backup support more now. It's just one of those if you can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen things.

4th was the most active and fun for me, and thats the time where there were more people on the inter net, generaly 5th brought a few unatural changes for me.

i prefer 4th gen over 5th gen cause 4th gen has npcs that can tutor u some moves by heart scale while 5th does not i belive

5th Gen has the heart scale move relearners. Their in Mistralton in one of the houses under the Pokemon center. (Not completely positive of their exact location in the city, but it's definitely Mistralton)

There are just waaaaaaay too many pokemon now. It's not even fun anymore to try and collect all of them and complete your Pokedex. Just feels like work. I really haven't cared for any gen since II, but this latest generation finally pushed things too far. 490 some Pokemon is still ok but pushing it, 640+ is too many.

Getting a Black trainer card is pretty much impossible now. You need All Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh Pokémon. Then the rest are in your Black and White. But some are also on version exclusive so you'll need to trade. What a fiddle.

Edit: One thing I really want to bring up is the fact that there's an item in 5th gen that allows pre-evolution's to be stronger than it's full evolution.
That totally ruins the purpose of having evolution now.
