European - American version - 01-26-2008

I just don't know why the American version of AWC has different named COs and units than the European version. Why do they want to confuse us? Couldn't they call them all the same? An example of this:

Will (America) - Ed (Europe)
Brennen (America) - O'Brian (Europe)

Rig (American) - Mobile Workshop (Europe)
Duster (American) - Fighter (Europe)
Fighter (American) - Interceptor (Europe)

WTF? Yeah, I live in Spain and got the European version and get confused with the CO names. It's kind of frustrating -.- Anyone knows why's this? Wouldn't it be easier to name it all the same? I just don't get it.

I don´t know the reason, but it is the same thing with Boktia 4/Lunar knights.

Everybody knows that the American Names are WAY better. Especially Truthwielder. He wishes his version was Days of ruin instead of Dark conflict. And seriously, O'Brian?! who came up with that?

But I must admit, I think I prefer the term "fighter" over "duster" and "Intercepter" over "Fighter".

just seems like social differences. Like Rig seems like an American word and interceptor seems European in that context, it would just be easier to them. They probably just want it to be easier for people to connect with the characters, I personally think the whole apocalyptic thing would be less if the characters were all named Goku and Sasuke, it would seem more ficticious.

Well, that's something subjective really. I prefer Commander O'Brian than Brenner. Sounds cooler IMO. But other names like Will are better. Anyway this is not about which names are better ^^ It just intrigues me, that's all.
