Question What Would You Add to this Game - 01-28-2008

Although I do enjoy this game very much, there are a few things I would have liked to include in it:
  • More COs; 12 COs are not enough; Intelligent Systems could have added 4 more with COs based on the past ones like Colin's reduce cost in producing units and reduce unit attacks, Lash's/Sonja's/Kindle's respective terrain bonus features, etc ...
  • Return of old units (i.e Stealth Plane, Black Boat, Neotank/Megatank, etc ...); even if some of these units did not make sense in the campaign storyline, they could have at least been added for free play and map designs

I would change:
-Wifi battles so you can play up to 3 other people. and team battles(2v2, 3v1)
-Change the length of custom maps to be sent over wifi to at least 20x20 instead of 10x10.
-MORE new units. C'mon, all we got were bikes, and mega tanks replaced with Wartanks.
-More Co's. at least 4. Maybe one could be from Dual Strike *cough Jake *cough
EXCEPT HIS TALKING. Jake was lame.

I would add more CO's and make the campaign about 5 times more difficult. In Dual Strike you had to get an infantry to each corner of the map, launch a silo to knock down a satellite within a certain amount of days then press past tons of megatanks and take out a heavily armored factory which freely produces 3 units of any type every turn. And that wasn't even ther final level!

This game is far too easy D:

- Single card download play. I have friends who would love playing this, but they don't have the game, and I can't persuade them into buying it, so download play would be nice.
-A couple more units would be nice, I mean, I never played with the Neotank and such, but a couple more would be awesome.
-This never happened in any Advance Wars games whatsoever, but how sweet would it be to create your own unit? like, sketch it on the touch screen, buy it some stats, and boom, you have your own custom unit.
That's all I have to say, I haven't found the neeed for more COs yet, I only have the first 4.

Some kind of challenges would be nice... Like Dual strikes survival mode.
And how come it was Sturm who sent the meteors?

I believe the campaign scenario "Lin's Gambit" forces you to beat it within 40 days which is similar to the Dual Strike mission "Crystal Calamity" requirement of preventing the enemy unit from reaching a silo as well as knocking down the satellite within the 50 minute time frame (10 minute on hard mode).

Yeah, I think they should have added some more modes for multiplayer gaming.. Like capture the flag or something.. And a 4 (human) player wifi would have been awesome..!
And, as was mentioned before, a DS Download Play menu..! That would really help..

Bring War Room back.
More COs.
Hard Campaign.
Larger custom maps on WiFi.
More opponents on WiFi.

The units removed from the game weren't vital and were also over-powered. Stealths could kill anything without the chance of being killed. Mega-tanks are still here (In the PAL version they're called Mega Tanks not War Tanks). Black Boats are part of the Black Hole army which were wiped out, same with Oozium. Black Boats were annoying and gave naval units way too much of an advantage (especially with those missile boats that can only fire 1 once before having to re-supply). Oozium is WAY too powerful and requires little skill. Neotanks were way to powerful and fast; also another Black Hole unit.
I think the amount of units in AWDC is just fine. Everything has a weakness and everything can be used tactically. You'd need to have no skill at all to want more units (just so you can spam 'n' survive)

@Musashi: Sturm didn't. He died remember? Kica only said that as a joke with Sturms' CO Power.
