So I just got AWoR, and considering that Dual Strike had LOADS of modes (hey, that rhymes!), I thought that this game would have a good bit of meat in it.

But no. It had no Survival, no War Room, no Combat, NOT EVEN A FREAKIN' DOWNLOAD PLAY MODE! Sure, the Campaign and Free Battle options are alright, but I'm really disappointed by this effort.

And the VERY little CO's compared to Dual Strike. I just beat Dual Strike because I'm stuck on c14 in DoR.

I agree with Ingsmasher, wi-fi trumps useless stuff like the shop and combat. Also DoR is new, to me Dual Strike was like a greatest hits album.

Indeed. And the gameplay has upped 100% with Commanding Zones and the new CO Powers. A lot more tactical.

Survival wasn't THAT fun. I forced myself to go through every long scenario.
Combat was lol'd at. Cheap, boring and lame.
Shop CAN'T COME BACK. The WORLD'S BEEN ALMOST DESTROYED. People are DIEING with no food/equipment. The economy has dropped to ZERO. It's only common sense >.>
I do miss War Room but we have Trial. The only reason I liked War Room was because it increases gameplay time. But now we have WiFi =D
Download Play was kinda lame... Never liked pre-deployed maps...

BTW, are there ANY in DoR? I'm guessing so, but I haven't seen any so far...

Also, PD maps would do great in wifi, since I don't want to sit next to my router for hours straight, especially if it doesn't have a recording system....

On another note, the changes to the gameplay weren't very useful to me, either. I mean, I don't wanna have to mess with a ton of movements to make my selection of a CO important to the gameplay. And the graphics? They look UGLY! Give me the peppy sprites of yesteryear any day!

If you look on the list of maps, it'll say "pre-deploy" in the corner if it's a pre-deploy map.

Yes, shop can come back. Like, things that people find.
Or at least things to unlock besides 6 co's. How about 12 Co's?

I sorta agree with all of you, I miss the all the extras of D.S., and I have yet to play a wifi game on D.O.R. (lets get that hub up and running!) its give and take, one thing I realy like is 50 custom maps!!!
