Getting all the medals in advance wars is a real completest challenge.
If it's similar to the previous ones, you get the large medals by collecting a certain amount of small medals.
E.g.
In dual strike, if you got say, 60/300 medals, you got a large steel medal.
Well at the moment, I have 74/270 medals and I also have one of the major medals. It's the round one thats third from the right.
I too still have a long way to go!
