People Surrendering too easily... - 02-21-2008

I've noticed alot of people surrendering a little too easily when playing on wifi

As soon as l get a small advantage, even just one more property my opponent surrenders. Personally l'd play on and try and turn it around.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Depending on the map, sometimes 1 property is usually what it takes to determine the outcome of a game.

Yeah but its not a sure thing by any stretch of the imagination.

Its a negative outlook imo, a defeatist attitude.

It's better when someone surrenders during a stalemate. I prefer to stand and fight to the end. I only surrender when the stalemate is too solid and long, It's why I like pre deployed maps

Ahhh thats why i love these types of games. I play them pretty much all the time when i am bored so i learn pretty much advantages and disadvantages of map terrains(in a certain game) im planning to get this game.

And don't sound too disappointed lots of people do this in every game.

The best thing is, a surrender is an 'honorable" disconnect, since there is no win/loss counter there's no frustration and no pressure. Some people like a great record, and that's fine, but this game is built around an in-depth online experience, so being cut short of a final blow is no big deal

I dont think its just because they give up too easily. I think its just server errors or something. I disconnected involuntarily like 4 times.
