First I would like to warn everyone of a player named "Bam", avoid him at all costs.

It happened to Mario Kart, then Metriod Prime Hunters, and now Advance Wars DoR. People cant seem to get a life and seem to find pleasure in ruining other peoples online experiences. During the last 4 days, I fought at lost to "Bam" 6 times. Since leaving the game counts as a loss, I decided to take my chances anyway. The thing is the jerk can move his units as many times as he wants, can destroy all of your units with artillery with infinite range, and by teleporting his infantry instantly to your surrounding basses or HQ.

The worst part is you its incredibly hard to back out of a match with this guy, the instant his name comes up the game starts a second and a half later, unless you have great reflexes and manage to turn off your system before the game starts. Even with all of these cheap tactics and cheats I managed to beat him once by taking advantage of the timer and waiting for it to run out. Something I usually never do, but for @$$es like him ill make a exception.

Well, hackers are nothing new, but it's still a real bummer that it's like that.

Still, that's why I normally don't go online in this game. I'd much rather try to complete EVERY map against a CPU or, in many cases, myself! :P

If your gaming experience HAS to be social, then maybe you could find some friends here to play. I hope that helps

The thing that I do when I encounter a hacker, since I have a NIntendo USB WiFi connector, is to simply deny permition to myself thus nocking me out of that problem, hehehe. Although, I haven't tryed it on this game yet....
