Golden Axe - The Same?

Do you get the Golden Axe exactly like in ACWW?

Actually I'm not quite sure, I haven't donated enough to get Serene's fountain built in to my town, I'll have to check up on that though.
All I know is that once you donate enough you get the fountain built in your town, and you have to throw in an axe. Then I think you have to answer some of questions determining what kind of axe it will become, a silver one or a gold one.

Yes you do. You obtain it after you buy a fountain (which you can get for contributing 1 million bells to your town fund) and throw an axe in it. After awhile you'll get a golden ax.

The difference between a silver ax and a silver ax, is that a silver ax can break and will if you use it too much, and a golden ax won't break no matter how many times you use it.

its 500000 bells. 1 million is lighthouse or windmill

and whats the bold part mean? a silver axe is the same as a silver axe O.o it should be a normal axe and a silver axe is that a normal axe will break if you use it too much.

Normal: breaks
Silver: doesnt break
Gold: doesnt break and chops trees faster

i got my silver axe today...she told me she would have given me a gold one but she had none
