Scorpion/Tarantula hunting

What is your strategy for catching Scorpions/Tarantulas... I almost always fail :(

When you see a scorpion or tarantula the best way to catch them is wait till its back is turned or not facing in your direction, then run up behind it and catch it. Thats how I caught them.

Are there any tricks to actually finding them? I haven't even seen one yet in city folk :confused:

well 1st you can only find one in july august... and one other month
also just at 7pm to 4am,also they're rare... oh well

My strategy is: I run the hell away when they chase me but when they stop chasing me I turn around and head just close enough so that they come at me and juts as they get near SWING!! It actually works pretty well.

... sounds like suicide, but ill try it.

Also i found a strategy that with me works 70-80% of the time
1 never keep net out
2 when you see one above cliff scare it down, and below the cliff push it up then down a cliff.
3 take out net
4 walk toward ramp area and when you get close to end of ramp swing at it
