Well, if you need a lot of bells I can tell you how to duplicate.

You can carry 15 items in your pockets
(25 if you use the mail to future self and attach gifts)
With 15 royal crowns you get 4.5 million bells every time you duplicate.

However, that kinda ruins the game so think about this.
