Animal crossing Let's go to the city questions with Animal crossing City Folk

I was wondering if the gameplay is different between the two games. I live in UK so I'll have Animal Crossing Let's go to the City. My main concern is, is they have different names, they will have different ISBN codes, therefore, you will not be able to play each over from different regions.

How do i get friend codes ? Once I get them when do I use them ? Do I have to set up certain times when to have my gate open or what ? I really need a copy of an Idiot's Guide to Friend Codes . LOL :rofl:

im from uk and i have lets go to the city .and people have visited me from different countrys who had the other game .so i think they do run together.if thats any help;)

yeah, i can confirm that it works with usa and europe connections.
