Why Ban Seeders?

If seeders get banned they will make a new user on fc so no one will know who it is but if we just post there fc/town name/ character name we'll know them. They could restart to get another Fc/ town but is less likely so just post who the seeders are on some sort of list.

If you post their fc/town name/character name it'll just cause moar flame and moar sockpuppets. We did have a report thread but it's proven useless. It's not hard for hackers to restart a game and get a new FC. Besides, most seeders quit after being banned a few times.

Yeah, Truth is right, we had a thread like that and it didnt get much accomplished. It would cause chaos in the forums as well. Seeders only stop after like three bans and after they move on to another forum.

It's useless for them to create more accounts, admins easily track their IP address.

Majority use dynamic IPs or proxies.

Lol they are the ones who play it all day and night and have no friend in reality so they just ruin everyone elses towns. yes they do think its real..They think u can fit fruit in your pocket lol

And yeh they shouldnt ban them and if u do they make new one and like 'killer' said the people can track there IP address. I think :S Hopefully :D

IP addresses can be changed.

Also, even though they often may create a duplicate account, it could possibly stop them and keep them away (if they have any sort of dignity that is). I understand what your saying, kieryn, but like it's been stated the "Beware of These Seeders" threads apparently don't work, so I guess banning is the best option even if it's not always effective.

MY solution for AC players is just play smart and pick trustworthy members to enter you town, don't make irrational decisions, seeders will always pose a threat but you can avoid them.

seeders shouldnt be banned, it isnt the mods problem that people let anyone into their town, so they shouldnt spend time hunting down people that havent even done em any harm.
