I've had a few requests recently on the topic of member-written game reviews being published on our fair site. If you're one of the ballsier members around here that feels confident enough in your own writing skill to try your hand at it, my answer is thus:
Show me what you've got.
And I mean that in the most literal sense. And figurative. All pending fistfights will have to be scheduled through my secretary. Reviews, on the other hand, should be posted in the Article Submissions forum where I and the other members of the staff can read them. Once you've posted the review, PM me with a link to the thread so I can get busy reading it.
In review:
- Write review
- Post review in Article Submissions with [MRVW] in the title
- PM me about said review with a link included
- (this is the tough part)
- Sit down
- Wait for my reply: yea or nay
- Boast/whine about it
That process completed, I will publish your review under your name on the front page where you can show it to your friends at parties and generally outbrag the heck out of everybody. Any submissions that do not follow the process outlined above will be ignored. Don't blame me, as the fault will be your own and I will shun you. That said, happy writing!
