This has gone to far!

I know other threads say this but the point hasn't gotten through your heads, this was one joke and everyone is over-reacting. I don't know if you just want attention or what but the staff doesn't look to happy, if you're smart you'll stop whining because you will probably get infracted. The joke about closing friendcodes was just a joke, but the community is tearing itself appart now. I honestly can not find a reason to be as mad as most of you are. It was april fools and that's how you celebrate the holiday, I hate to see what will happen on halloween if friendcodes does something crazy like add halloween decorations in forums. Anyway, the staff has given their sincere apologies and are feeling really bad, instead of making them feel at ease [some members are but not all] you kick them while they're down.


On the other hand, I think this "bash fc" forum needs to be renamed because it is basically an excuse to flame.

Yes, people overreact, but they probably just want some attention, be it good or bad. It's in people's nature to try and get involved and have people talking about them or what they did or did not say. It was to be expected.

I think they just have to calm down and see it with a broader perspective. It was a joke. A good example is the Danish Mohammed cartoon. It was just a joke and there was no intention of hate behind it. So was this. I don't think the admins were scheming some sort of evil plan to reduce the member count behind the scenes and spread hate here. It just turned out to be a bit too dramatic for some people (and posers).

I didnt realize it was just the admins for a while, but I've realized that now. I thought it was a great joke, and the admins dont deserve this. But thats just my opinion....
