1 year anniversery

Thats right Friendcodes, you've had to put up with me for a whole year! My life as a Friendcodian started today (i think, eitherway it was this month) It's been a rollercoaster ride with ups, downs and loop de loops! Ive seen many peope come and many people go. Ive seen the rise of So Sick and the fall of Tsun. Ive seen many things and that got me thinking, whats happened in my year here? Well sit on my lap and get comfy Friendcodes, here is my life as a Friendcodian so far....
I joined! I never posted in the new members foum, or any other foum except the pokémon D/P forum acctually! I dared venture out! I made many friends there I also got my first karma there...a bad one. Apperently, and i quote, i was a "A very rude new member" how lovley, not!
I got around 200 posts before i accidently hit the new posts button on the home page, thats where the exciting part of my life began! I was opened to many new things, Games and nonsence, Media disscusion, the wii forums and one I wish i knew about before the most, the new members forum! I met lots and lots of friends here and if it hadn't been for that accidental, faithful press of the new posts button i probbably woudn't be writing this today.
Not many things happened for a while, but then something happened that divided Friendcodes, possibly forever; Benbob was banned! A man that spoke the truth and spoke up for what he thought was right but at the same time was sush a great addition to Friendcodes was banned?! Many people wanted an explination, but from what I can remember, no explination was given, many still wont give one, but it divided Friendcodes. You still get the odd Benbob protest from members of his new site, but they often just get banned straight away. I cant remember what happened for a while, probably because not alot did happen...
...but then along came a spider who got 300 posts in his first week, So Sick. Many of you will know So Sick. At first people were weary of a man who seemed so powerfull, but soon we all came to love him! He was renowned for being a very contriversial mind and a powerfull poster! To this day mr. Sick has 6 awards and just under 3000 posts, a over outstanding achivment for a man who hasnt been here for half a year yet! But he only has one wifi game...Super smash bros. Brawl
Ahh, the hype of Smash Bros. When it was nearing completion i can remember when days of news on the hompage used too be full of smash bros news for our anticipating ears! Then came the delays. America was pushed back around 3 months, even Japan was pushed back! A release date came through for Japan, then America, but still no word of Brawl for PAL...Then, out of the blue, when all hope of Brawl acctually making it to Europe, a rumor emerged that, soon, we would have a release date! Friendcodes became alive with members posting rumoured dates, some reasinable, some utterly stupid. Then, coming off a holiday to Spain, I logged onto Friendcodes in an airport only to find that we DID have a release date!!! I was extatic!
Then came along a memeber who I am still friends with to this very day, who most of you will know as the King of N00bs, the one and only, Zarif. Sweet niave Zarif. Here to show us that noobs can be cool. He failed at that.
Later that year of 2008 something happened that no one ever thought would happen. Tsun was banned and his staff status was stripped! Many called for an explination to this! Again it took a while for the Mods to give us a reason, but it finnally came, he was singiling out members and bullying them apperently!
Many things have happened that I either can't remember about or I dont have enough time, or probably enough space to write about them. I expect to be here for at least another 2 years, one year longer is a definate. When I got fully into the community I set myself goals, some I have compleated, like getting 1000 posts, others I have yet to complete. Here are my goals I want to achive before I leave:
1. Become a Mod
2. Get one award that isnt related to the RB
3. Get 3000 posts and get the red poster award
4. Meet many new friends along the way!
Well thats it. I hope you enjoyed my journey into the past about my first year as a Friendcodian! I shall make another one of these on my two year anniversery. Good bye!
