My Girlfriend

Posted 12-01-2008 at 02:35 AM by Divine_E
Well, I decided to go ahead and post some stuff about the Woman behind the Sombrero Man. If you like a good story, sit under the shade of my Sombrero, and grab some snacks, it's Esta...Divine E's Story time! First off, for those that didn't know, my name is Andrew. I am 16 and live in Kentucky. No I do not own a sombrero in real life, but I do own a fedora. Now back to the topic at hand. Some of you may know that I am in JROTC. (Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps.) It is a very good program with a great mission. To Motivate Young People to Be Better Citizens. It is an Army Program, but no promise to the Military is made. My Story starts at the JROTC Military Ball, which was in Febuary. I went alone, convinced by my friends that it would be fun. I was reluctant to go because I was dateless. I have never really had a true Girlfriend before, because I am shy around new people, and most girls. My friends will deny up and down that I am shy, they know the real me. But I am a very laid back and non-expressive individual. I don't like to be open with very many people, and have trouble expressing my true feelings. The friends I do have, I love. They are all awesome people. Well, anyway, I went to the ball, and relized I wasn't the only one going by themselves. But hey, I was better off than my friend Randall who actually brought his friend Jameson with him. (Many jokes were made about this.) Things started out as I had planned. I sat with my friends talking about all sorts of things. I had been eating off and on throughout the night, they had great food. I then decided to go to the snack table and grab me a cookie. I put the cooking in my hand and bit a piece then turned around. Standing in front of me was a very lovely young lady. She looked into my eyes and asked "You wanna dance with me?" I nervously said "Yeah, sure, let me finish eating this cookie." (Dumbest thing to say ever. lol.) So we went out to the dance floor and danced all night. Over that night I learned her name, Jessica. She was very attractive and had a great personallity. I learned that she recently was placed into foster care, (For something her sister did, not her.) and she told me she would be back in 3 weeks, and would talk to me on myspace. Well, the night came to a close, and I gave her a hug and said goodbye when she left. I had this strange attachment to her that I had never had before, I had to see her again. I went home around midnight, and the next day got on to Myspace. I searched for her, but couldn't be sure which person was her. Her last name is very common. I waited 3 weeks, but I never heard from her. I remembered some of her friends she talked to at the Ball, and I talked to them. They gave me hints and I eventually found her. I messaged her, and she said something had happened and she wouldn't be back for a little while longer. I understood. I asked for her number, but she had none to give at the moment. We talked back and forth on myspace for a while, then she messaged me with a number. Unfortunately, I didn't get this message til Sunday night, and because of a vacation (That I took while I was supposed to go to school.) I didn't get to call her til that Wednesday. We talked for a while about all sorts of stuff. I learned that she would be in town that weekend. We made plans to go see a movie. We planned to meet at a gas station at 6:30 Pm. I got there on time, but couldn't see her anywhere. I thought she may be running late, or something. I kept on waiting. Finally it was almost 7. I was about ready to leave when suddenly a car pulled up. It was her. She had thought that I had said 7. Well, we rushed to the theater, and we found out we couldn't watch the movie we wanted to. Quarintine. It was rated R. I lied and told them I was 18, which is believable, but they wanted ID, which I told them I didn't have with me. So we settled on Max Paiyne instead. The movie wasn't so good. Besides, I spent most of my time stealing glances of her. We talked for a while after the movie. And then we took her home. This all took place in October. We talked some more on Myspace and on the phone, and arranged a date for Halloween. We decided that we were going to meet at Wal-Mart where we would go to her Grandparents house and be treated to some Home-made soup. Then we would take her nephew trick-or-treating. After that we would go to a Haunted house. Well the soup was good, and I had fun taking her nephew trick-or-treating. Her family was really nice, and all of them called me her boyfriend, even though that wasn't official yet. Well, we had a lot of fun that night, and it was almost time for the haunted house. We stopped by her house first. I had went everywhere without a coat and apparently she thought I needed one. So she got a coat for me, and we started arguing about it. I said, I don't need one, but she kept on insisting that I did. Finally I said, "Alright, alright, if it makes you happy, I will wear it." She said "Alright... Aw, our first arguement." We both laughed. After that, we finally went to the haunted house. When we got there, we were waiting in line, and she was really cold. She looked at me and said "You wanna hold hands?" Of coarse my answer was yes. So we began to hold hands. I loved the feel of her hand in mine. We went through the haunted house and it was the best one I had been to yet. It almost actually scared me. (Considering I used to stay at a real haunted house on the weekends, this is no small achievement.) She held on tight to me while going around corners, and going places. Next came the fun part. We entered a room, and a guy with a chainsaw popped out and started roaring it. Jessica jumped back ten feet and ran screaming, as did everyone else. I stood there alone in the room with the Chainsaw man. We both looked at each other and shugged our sholders. He then held up one finger as if to say, wait one secound. He ran out with the chainsaw and chaced them all around. I started busting out laughing. The rest of the night was pretty great. I was then dropped off at my Dad's house, and gave her a hug before I left. a day later, I called her up, and finally, I got a question answered that I had wanted answered for a while now. "Are we officially going out now?" The answer was yes. I was very happy. Time past, when I suddenly realized her phone wasn't working anymore. I immediately went to myspace where I was informed that her phone was out of minutes. I found out she was going to be home the weekend coming up, and I wanted to plan something. However, it was very hard to do with no phone. Finally, I messaged her and asked if she wanted to come to my Dad's. Well, she didn't get the message on time, and this never happened. So we talked on myspace some more, and started to think of plans for Thanksgiving. We couldn't think of anything for a while, then we I sent a message asking if she would want to go with me to my grandparents for thanksgiving. I waited for a responce, but none ever came. I looked on her myspace, and the last time she had logged on was a day before I had sent that message. I was distressed. I had no way of contacting her. I started messaging her friends asking if they knew a way I could contact her. I called people with her last name out of the phone book. No luck. This was the night before thanksgiving. I pretty much gave up... I had been depressed for about a week because I couldn't get a hold of her. I thought something bad had happened. I even tried to look online to see if she was in the Obituaries. Finally, that morning I got a call. It was her. Well, I expressed my worry, and then asked her to come to my grandma's. Well, unfortuately she had other plans, but invited me to come over later to her house. I did. I went over there, and we shared stories, and talked for a while. She volenteered me to play some songs for everybody on guitar hero 3. I did. After I played another person started to play, and they played the song "Talk Dirty to me." Me and her kept on looking at each other for some reason during this song. Then after this, everyone settled down and started watching the movie. Her little nephew kept on climing all over me during the movie and talking to me. At one point he hugged me and said "I love you." My Girlfriend then pointed out that this was a good thing because if her nephew doesn't like a guy, he's gone. lol. Well, he kept on insisting to sit in-between me and my girlfriend. Finally, my girlfriend told him to move to the other side of me. She then scooted closer to me, and I reached my arm behind her, and put my arm around her. She laid her head on my shoulder, and I laid my head gently on hers. We stayed this way pretty much the rest of the night, through two whole movies. Finally, I had to go home. She rode with me, and got out when I got out. She stood next to me, and gave me a hug. I looked into her eyes, and then leaned forward and gave her a kiss, and she kissed me back. I looked at her eyes again, and said goodnight. Then I walked inside and waved bye.

Edit: For those people who like images, here is a pic of her.

No you can not haz.

You're new to talking about your love life online, aren't you?

Take it from me, man; you'll look a lot more "unique" by emphasizing a girl's age when you mention her.

*FACEPALM.* Tell ya what Azurill. December 31st, 2009. She will be 18. When she does turn 18, I will start saying things about "My-18-year-old-girlfriend." Okay? I am 4 months younger than her, so not a huge age difference. Besides, age doesn't mater.
