Race at Cobalt

Whoa! Today was so awesome! We had tons of laugh on the bus ride there (it was around 2 hours) and on the way back. We go there at 12 and my race was at 2 PM so I hanged around the lodge with other people until my race started.
There was around 50 people in my category and I ended up with 18. We ran 6.5k. I'm not the best runner but I'm proud with what I got and I beat my goal at least. My goal was to stay with this one guy on my team who is usually side by side with me during races but this race I past him right at the start and he was behind by about 30 seconds I think (which is kinda a lot).
I'm hurting pretty bad right now, there is so much hills at that place... I remember this one hill that was super steep and just went on and on, you'd run to the top and make a 180 degree turn and you'd see another hill right there twice as massive. lol
All in all, its been a pretty good day, best thing though, is that I got to miss school. ;D Also next week I'll be going to Niagara Falls for two days to run a race (again :P). The first day well be visiting (I've already been there though so I'll probably be telling people were to go and stuff) and the second day will be the race.
Our coach took lots of pictures of us racing and stuff, so when she sends it to us I'll might post some pics up of me and that massive hill. lol
