Gamekeeper Discounts

I saw that Larry had updated his promo page of his website, so I decided to go visit him today. Additionally, I had not been there in awhile so I wanted to check and see what was different.

With no car still, I took the bus there which was not so bad. Once there, Larry and John were in the middle of a game called Manoeuvre. It is a tactics game based on early 19th century warfare. It looks interesting. While Larry and John were battling each other, I was looking around the place looking for a copy of Chang Cheng which was sold out. I settled on Ys with its expansion along with Sceptor of Zaxander. I also noticed that my copies of games I left there were on the Most Played Games shelf.

We played Race for the Galaxy after that since John had to leave in an hour or so which did not give enough time to play Ys nor Sceptor as well as the time it takes to explain the rules. John crushed us in all games we played; he was probably fueled by the fact that he lost against Larry earlier in Manoeuvre.

Now I have to read up on the rules for Sceptor so I can explain it to people.
