Ys

As mentioned earlier, I bought a copy of Ys as well as its expansion from Larry this past Friday. While applying stickers to the color broker pieces, it became apparent to me that the game was missing one red broker piece. Additionally, a yellow broker piece was defective which cannot be good in this type of game. I contacted Rio Grande Games asking to see if I can get a replacement piece for my red broker piece as well as a yellow one. Once I sent them a message, I decided to do some more background into Ys, and it seems that I have the 2nd edition copy of the game and not the latest edition. I would not normally grip about it, but the latest edition has plastic gem pieces to represent gems as opposed to wooden square cubes. Another difference is that the cards of the 2nd edition are slightly smaller than the cards from the latest expansion. If there were card sleeves that could fit them, I would not mind, but alas, there are none (there are actually card sleeves that fit them, but I would have to order them from Korea). Once I get contacted by Rio Grande Game, I might actually have to buy a new one.
