Well the neon green background makes it look not so good, and the contest house is in R/S/E style while the trainers and Poke'mon are in FR/LG style.
The sprites are outrrageously dark for some reason, and in comics ALWAYS use grammar.

Spot on. The look is good, It's neat and tidy..

but you need humour. For a comic to work, it needs humour. Thats just...the way of thing. So keep it up and don't give up, you have the skills.

You see how hard it is to make a whole comic on paint? the text is the most annoying because there`s not always enough room.

I've never really had a problem with the wording in my comics. I plan them out so I know how much room I need to leave for the speech bubble, and if there isn't enough I just make the text smaller xD

lol well do it on a bigger scale, doesnt mean there needs to be more detail, just means you have more room =D
