3DS Firmware Update

A new 3DS firmware update is now available. Update v4.4.0-1 adds some "behind the scene improvements". To receive the new update, select "Other Settings" on the 3DS and scroll to the right and select "System Update". It is a small update, but people should still connect the 3DS to the power adapter.

Just like the past several firmware updates, this new one does not add anything of important significant. It just enhances the Nintendo eShop and improves the system's overall performance. People will have to get this new system update in order to access the Nintendo eShop.

the hackers/modders are vast and determined.

they'll find a loophole you can't fix.

Well if Nintendo tries enough, I think hackers are gonna eventually just give it up, cause its probably only fun for some to constantly find loopholes. I mean at some point they are gonna ask themselves "Why am I bothering to hack a handheld". Hackers are tenacious, but that doesn't mean they always care.
