3DS XL Released in Europe

After announcing the 3DS XL, Nintendo has been generous and has released it in Japan as well as Europe. Japan usually gets new Nintendo releases earlier than other regions, so Europe is lucky since North American gamers won’t be getting their hands on the 3DS XL until August 19.

The revamped 3DS is priced at £179.99 in Europe and will be $200 in North America, compared to the original’s £149.99 and $169.99. The specs boast a top and bottom screen at 4.88 inches and 4.18 inches along with 4GB of memory. In comparison, the 3DS has a 3.53 inch top screen and 3.02 bottom screen with only 2GB for storage. The battery life of the 3DS XL is also at 6 and a half hours instead of 5. Launch colors include red, blue and silver.

i just think the original look so much more sleek, the XL is cool with the bigger screens and all, but it looks like a piece of plastic :/

lol Nintendo has made every DS System so far a XL except the DS and the DS Lite lolz.And the screen on the 3DS XL looks smoother on Graphics and looks easier to Grip.

I'd get a Vita before a 3DS XL since I already have a 3DS. I might get an XL later on if they include the second control nub

I don't think we have to worry about that problem; I'm sure with the processing power of the 3DS, they can easily fix the problem in an update if it is even an issue.

I traded in my 3ds for an xl and I cann tell you that the 3ds xl is far better. It's soo good to hold and it enhances your games and there 3d effect
