[EVENT] Kid Icarus Battle Day

It has been nearly two month since Kid Icarus: Uprising for the Nintendo 3DS has been released. Since then, Nintendo has held demo events at participating Gamestop and Best Buy stores where people can show up to demo the game, meet other players, and receive AR cards. Now, Nintendo has designated May 19th (this Saturday) as Kid Icarus: Multiplayer Battle Day Meetup Everywhere. Interested people can simply head over to the meetup website where they find a local event near them or can organize their own tournament. The top twenty groups with the most people attending will receive exclusive Kid Icarus items such as more AR cards and t-shirts.

My meetup isn't even at a Gamestop... How many different cards does everyone else have? I have 18 different cards :D

I don't care for any of those prizes but if I did i'd be winning them because no one beats me and my cannons on this game.

That sucks, although Newark is available as a location, not a single person is participating in the event there. I really wanted to be a part of this :(

mine was 10 minuets from my house. i went and it was fun. I got to meet some people, play kid Icarus, and I got a tshirt and ar cards. i think it was a good 2 hours.

I went to my local one. There was a bus straight from my hose to the location and it takes 15 minuets so i i decided why not. I was fun. got some kid icarus cards played ki and mkt for a couple hours and got to meet some cool people.
