The first bundle includes a black 3DS LL and will come with a copy of Monster Hunter Tri G. It will be available on November 1st and will retail for ¥21,800 (approximately $280). The black 3DS LL will be available by itself for ¥18,900 (approximately $240). On November 8th, another bundle containing an Animal Crossing themed 3DS LL and a copy of Animal Crossing: Jump Out will be available for ¥22,800 (approximately $282). This will be followed by another 3DS LL bundle featuring a Super Mario Bros. themed 3DS LL and a copy of New Super Mario Bros. 2 which will retail for the same price. Unlike past bundles, there are no physical copies of the games and instead are already preinstalled on the included scan disc card.
Beginning in November, Japanese owners will be able to purchase digital copies of past 3DS games from the Nintendo eShop. The current line-up includes Mario Tennis Open, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, Star Fox 64 3D, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and Pilotwings Resort. Nintendo will also make it possible to transfer saved data between the physical games to the digital ones in Spring next year.
