• Mario Kart 7 & 3DS Update

People who love playing Mario Kart 7 will know that there are certain shortcuts and exploits that players will abuse while playing the game. Well, now Nintendo has finally released an update that will alleviate the problem. The patch will eliminate the shortcuts in three tracks ("Wuhu Loop," "Maka Wuhu," and "Bowser Castle 1") for people playing the game online. In fact, downloading the patch will be necessary to play the game online beginning May 16 (people can still enjoy the game offline without the patch). People can find the update in the Nintendo eShop. Deleting the patch will require people to redownload it again.

Aside from the Mario Kart 7 update, there is also a surprise 3DS systems update. Update 4.1.0-8 is available now, and aside from the usual "enhancements and behind the scene improvements", this update will allow people to update the the system without the need of entering the pin number if parental controls are enabled.

This is only a fraction of what nintendo are good at, reacting to the people voices! :)

Well they should have forced the update on to people from the beginning because people still use the glitch online and it's rather annoying. At least people will have to stop doing it now, i'm relieved.

That's good to see, now hopefully they can apply patches to Smash Bros 4 to balance the characters if the character balance is off at launch

Finally! I hate people using the shortcut in Maka Wuhu, especially because that course always gets picked!

This is something that Nintendo rarley does. Listen to their fans! Good job Nintendo! Too bad you were so slow with this! This glitch should have been fixed long time ago! But im not surprised Nintendo are always slow with almost everything after a game gets released.
