[PHOTOS] Wii U Concept Art

Global Test Market has released some official concept art for the Wii U, as well as a survey asking gamers if they are 'likely to purchase the system if it costs $300.' The concept art itself only touches on the surface of what we haven't seen, reiterating much of what we have, such as being able to use the system as the full controller for racing games and fighting games, etc.

Even with GTM releasing this art and survey, it isn't confirmed whether or not the price is set in stone. Nintendo has already stated that the definite price will be unveiled at this year's E3 in a short three weeks. My mind keeps bringing me to the conclusion that Nintendo will pull a surprise out of their hat and the actual price will be much, if not somewhat, lower than the intended $300. But, we'll see.

The GTM survey info suck. Not too many want pay $300. If they sell for that much they'll be doing the same thing just like the 3DS overprice event that happen about year ago.

$300 is actually much cheaper than I would expect. The PS3 was $500 at launch and now we're in the next gen. I'd say $300 in the absolute minimum you can expect.

I can already tell i'm not going to like this system. Especially because we still have to use the Wiimote, why can't we just go back to normal controllers...?

Why do these feaetures not surprise me? I've seen most of them at the E3 last year. The Wii U should have titles that can run only on the tablet as well. That'll be worth it. It should have also been a bit slim as well. I still like it though. :)

The Wii U sounds cool, but that's way more expensive than when the Wii came out. I too hope the price is dropped.

At least there is a classic controller. I'd buy the WiiU if it's 300 bucks

300 doesn't sound too bad, sounds fair to me cause I'm not cheap :) compared to ps3 and Xbox 360 it's a pretty fair price all jokes aside (looks much better 2 if u ask me :)

Big price? I paid $330 taxes in for my Wii in August 2007. That was with a friend's 10% off Wal-Mart worker discount.

at $300 it would sell like a PS3 after launch.
it is cheaper than a PS3 but it is also cheaper to make by today's standards.

I'm sure that "playing in a street" image is just to show that you're in the "action" in a racing game and not actually playing in the street..
