• [VIDEO] Pokémon Mystery Dungeon for 3DS

    A few days ago, information about a new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game heading for the 3DS was leaked from CoroCoro magazine, and it will be hitting Japanese shelves sometime this winter. This game, titled Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinth will include 5th generation Pokémon for the first time in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series, and will use 3D models for all the Pokémon as well. This game will also make use of the 3DS' AR features, and one of these uses include scanning various circular objects, such as clocks, or cups, in order to unlock gateways to new dungeons for you and your team to explore. The first trailer for the games was recently released, showing off some of the new things we can expect.




    As you can see, you, the player, once again take the role of a human who gets turned into a Pokémon, and will get to choose various partners to explore dungeons with. While only a Japanese release has been confirmed for now, a western release is inevitable, so keep an eye out for more news on this title!

      If the game was about $1000, how would you get Wii U?

      Why does it say western release is inevitable? Weren't the wii shop exclusive ones also "inevitable"? If it comes great if not what ev, though this does have more likely of a release then the wii shop ones. The graphics of the game remind me of the wii mystery dungeons.

      No, I wouldn't have ever thought so. The fact that they were Wii Shop exclusives greatly reduced their chance of getting localized, since Japan's Wii Shop will always get stuff we will never get on ours (such as EarthBound).

      But yes, with this new game being a retail title, it means we will almost definitely get it in the west eventually. Its just a matter of time.

      I have been waiting for a PMD 5th gen game of years!!! But I hope we get more choices then those 5 Pokemon to start with.

      the graphics obviously look better than the older version of mystery dungeon it looks awesome when it comes out i am getting that game!

      That MIGHT have actually been the options for who your partner is (since you get to choose).

      Hopefully, there is more variety for the player character.
