    Toki Tori 2, the sequel to the original puzzle-platformer on the Gameboy Color, Toki Tori, has been given a debut trailer depicting the basic gameplay mechanics of the upcoming game. Also revealed was a new feature named the Tokidex which uses the Wii U GamePad as a camera to take pictures of creatures and objects you encounter in the game.

    A description of Tokidex has been provided by the developer, Two Tribes:

    “The Tokidex feature allows you to scan the area around Toki Tori for creatures and objects by using the Wii U Gamepad as a virtual camera with a viewfinder. Any creatures photographed will be added to the Tokidex. It’s quite fun to do, especially with creatures that move quite a bit!”





    Two Tribes not yet given Toki Tori 2 a release date, but it was revealed that it would most likely release before the end of the year on the Wii U and Steam.
