• [VIDEO] ZombiU at PAX

    We have yet another video of the WiiU exclusive ZombiU, this time coming from the recent PAX convention. This video reveals various bits of gameplay, and shows off a few different weapons such as the cricket bat. "Shaun of the Dead" fans will be pleased with it's effectiveness I'm sure. We also get to see a bit of Buckingham Palace, with a few former police officers and royal guards trying to eat the player's face off.

    Please note that this video contains violence, as well as what may be considered frightening sequences, so if you know you don't like that kind of stuff, you've been warned.




    As of now, ZombiU is set to be a launch title for the upcoming WiiU, and hopefully we will get a more solid date on the actual release of said console very soon. In the meantime, here is a look at ZombiU's official North American cover art:

      The cover art is a massive let down, to be perfectly honest with you, but the game itself looks rather impressive. The only thing that bothered me slightly was the ability to scan a room before you entered it to get a feel for whether anything was in there. I think it'd be a lot jumpier - and more of a horror game - if it didn't have that, as you'd have to prepare yourself as you faced the zombie.

      Nice to see a mix of weapons too, and I hope there's more melee weapons to choose from too. If it's set in the UK, guns should - theoretically - be quite scarce and melee weapons would be preferred.

      Finishing moves look good too. I'm going to assume zombies will be fairly limited and won't appear in large hoardes otherwise that function would be fairly useless. :x

      Still not enough to tempt me to buy one of these, but I'm not going to lie, I do like the looks of it - very much so.

      The game looks good and I agree about the cover art. I dunno if I will be zombied out when this game comes out though. (Currently reading walking dead, playing walking dead the tell tale game, still play a ton of L4D2...etc)

      I'm not really fan of the name. Seems too cheese, lol. Other than that I love the game!! "Oh you got a helmet, let me beat you up the old fashion way then." *SPLAT*! I have to say, this alone might make me buy the Wii U.
