    The manager of Software & Services for Macquarie Capital Securities in Japan revealed on Twitter today that it's unlikely that Capcam is bringing Monster Hunter Tri G to western countries this coming year. We're expected to hear something about this at E3, albeit in a possibly negative way, but the lower-than-expected sales of Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii leave us with a shadow of doubt of it coming to us.

    @LiteDrg0nS1ay3R capcom keep saying its unlikely as audience not there based on the wii game

    Maybe this is better, since we wouldn't want Capcom to have another flop after their recent media decline and last year's low sales on the already mentioned MHT. In any case, import is always an option!

      i'm sorry, but 25% of tri's total sales being in NA isn't enough for them to bring it over? really hard to believe

      Still, I'm not interested in a Monster Hunter game with only local multiplayer.

      I doubt that, MH3D has been on the top 20 list in Japan since its release, also the series sells as good or better as main mario games. Now for America I can't say as much but it looks as if the fanbase has grown since its release making Capcom's remarks difficult to believe, true it doesn't sell as well in America but it sells pretty damn well here for being a relatively unknown series stateside.

      They know how to not make me not care anymore.I love the mh series alot but I lost faith in them a long time ago. Even on the official capcom website people high up give you hints that certain things arent going to happen. This is like dreamcast. All the good stuff is in japan.At least we still get pokemon,I honestly wouldnt get my hopes up. Operation cherry blossom failed and I guess it isnt profitable for capcom.

      No, this game absolutely needs to be brought over. I've been holding off money for the longest time just for this game to come out in the Fall. I will not be buying a Japanese 3DS for this game and Crapcom is agitating me even further.

      Interesting.. But uhm, MHTri "flopped" on the Wii?? I wasn't aware of that viewpoint.. oO

      And importing this game wouldn't work.. Since the 3DS is region based the games would not run.
