On November 18, people can purchase a Wii U console in North America. Consumers will have two different packages to choose from. The Basic set includes the white Wii U console with 8GB, a white GamePad controller, an AC adapter, a sensor bar, and a HDMI cable. The Deluxe set includes a black Wii U console with 32 GB, a black GamePad controller, an AC adapter, a sensor bar, a HDMI cable, a stand, a charging cradle, and a copy of Nintendo Land. Nintendo Land as well as New Super Mario Bros. U and Lego City: Undercover will be available on the Wii U launch day. The Basic set will retail for $299.99 while the Deluxe set will retail for $349.99.

People who purchase the Deluxe set will receive points from digital download purchases. These points can be redeemed for other digital downloads as well as other downloadable content.

Aside from games, Nintendo is focusing on the entertainment aspect of the Wii U. Nintendo TVii allows people to watch their favorite tv and movies from Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Instant Video, and their own DVR on the Wii U. Player profiles can be created with each profile having their own custom collection of videos from the above providers. People can also engage and converse with other people while watching live tv on the Wii U.

Nintendo revealed some more Wii U game titles. Bayonetta 2 will be exclusively for the Wii U. Project P-100 is now renamed The Wonderful 101. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be for both the Wii U and 3DS. Both versions will include online multiplayer play and connectivity between both devices. Other future Wii U games include Skylanders: Giants, Wipeout 3, Transformers Prime: The Game, 007 Legends, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. There will be over fifty different games available on the launch window.

I want it, and the price is right. Definitely getting the deluxe version, since I wanted Nintendo Land anyway.

I'm guessing the hard drive isnt upgradeable like the 360 and PS3. I'll get a basic and deluxe if thats the case.

People can purchase an external hard drive to store more memory.

As cool as it sounds, it's still expensive, and I wouldn't be able to use it at college really, so I'm still undecided.

However, it does sound supa cool.

And still no DVD and blu-ray made in it. Only reason I want those if ever internet goes down have something to watch. So way too many internet show stuff again.

Yep I'm also getting the WiiU and Monster Hunter since that game has online. I might as well pick up New Super Mario Bros U as well. Can't wait for Pikmin 3. Although I find it ridiculous that they didn't include online play for Mario and Pikmin

You should pick up a PS3. I think you can get the anniversary bundle that includes the Uncharted trilogy for 200 bucks.

There's really nothing that is making want the WiiU. Some of the tiles that I want I'm going to be able to play them on my PS3, and really the price seems to be too much for what is showing us right now. Don't see the value.

There will probably be a price drop in a few months to a year

Too expensive for me, I would consider getting it if it was $250 but $300 makes it more than it's worth since I'll be heading to college in 2013. I just won't have enough play time to get my money out of it, besides my Wii works fine and my parents would look down on me for putting money on a new gaming system when I need money for college.

Maybe in a few years, but not anytime soon.
