• Wii U Controller Revision

A Traveller's Tales tester posted a photo on Twitter of the revised Wii U controller. The changes are subtle, but noticeable and might change our thoughts on the new system. The revised controller is now complete with dual Analogue Sticks rather than the previously seen Circle Pads, which were suspected to prove less than efficient for the average gamer. There are other minor tweaks as well, but nothing substantial, and any further alterations will be revealed at E3 when the final design is to be showcased. Speaking of which, being set for June 3rd, E3 rolls around in just over a week. Can't wait!

I still greatly dislike the right-stick placement.

ugh... that pic makes the controller look HUGE... i hope its not too big. last thing i want to be doing is lugging some fat machine around as i play my games.

Is it me or is this controller like twice the size of an xbox controller, I can't see how this would be comfortable or practical.

Nintendo needs to rethink their plan here. This is seriously the stupidest thing i've seen. Stop trying to be different Nintendo. (inb4 "omg troll" comments)Take a step back and look at it. Even though they'll still be leading in sales with this console, they need to get on board with making developers give more options in terms of controls(more games with a "normal" controller), there were games on the Wii that i didn't want to play solely due to the control scheme with the wii remote and i'm not the only one in this boat.

Good. After using the circle pad on the 3DS, I can honestly say that I prefer analog sticks.

I'm probably one of the few who didn't mind the circle pads

Oh, thank God there's real analog sticks on it now! Analog nubs should be kept for handhelds, and handhelds only.

I hate it! I guess Nintendos days of thinking outside the box are gone. Goodbye Wii-U and hello Xbox Wii edition. First the great circle pads are gone, the perfect alignment of the controller is gone. The home button lights up, are you kidding me? Plus now it's even bigger so now more people will complain about it. The days of looking forward to the system are over now.
