I hope this new take on fanfic is well received. In the same notion of Brawl, different characters will be introduced to the story, old, new, expected and unexpected. Oh just four things of mention. This will be intense at times, "> <" means sound effects or action taken, colored words are memories/flashbacks or "meanwhile's" and "} {" means thinking so I won't have to type *thinking*blah blah blah* ok? So let's begin.

Chapter One: She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not....

*scene opens to a field outside Peach's castle. Peach and Mario sit in the grass overlooking the kingdom*

Peach: Mario, I, I......,
*Mario interrupts with anticipation and a grin*
Mario: Yes, Peach? }She's gonna say it, I know it.{
Peach: I have a confession to make. *looking away sighly*
Mario: What is it princess? *his grin disappears as he grabs her chin to gently turn her head, only to find it bathed in tears*
Peach: I..., *weeping* after all these years of you saving me, I haven't been totally honest with you. *she says as she stands to walk away*
*grabbing her hand, Mario stammers to speak*
Mario: What is it really, tell me. Whatever it is, tell me. *he smiles at her to reassure her*
Peach: .......I love, ........I love Bowser.....
*pulls out a drawing Bowser made for her...., yesterday*



*Mario frozen in horror, clinches her hand tighter and tighter*

Peach: Mario, Mario ow, ow, ow, ooww, you're hurting me!!

*still in shock, he speaks*

Mario: You what? *his expression changes from shocked to anger* You mean after all these years, of me traveling all over this stupid kingdom, to unknown worlds, even to outer space, you mean to tell me, *Peach's hand slips from her glove. Mario grips the ramaining glove as fire starts to emerge from his hand burning it* I was LIED TO?!?!

*atop Death Mountain, Lucario trains*

Lucario: Just a little more power. ggrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaahhhhhhHHH!!!
>Boooooommm!!!! >rubble from the mountain falling everywhere from his Aura Sphere<
*exhausted, breathing heavy*

Still not strong.......Ugh!! What is that power surge? *concentrates on it location and aura host* No!! Tha-, that's Mario!! I must hurry! *speeds off towards Toadstool Castle*

Meanwhile at Peach's castle

Mario: Why did you call me here!
Peach: I needed to be rescued, but..........I realised I like "bad boys" and you're a nice guy, but-
*Mario leering at her*
Peach: I didn't want to hurt you.... *she turns to return to the castle where Bowser awaits her*
Peach: I'll always love you, Mario.

*his expression explodes, his arm burst into flames, an innocent nearby butterfly gets too close and is burnt to death*

Mario: Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhh!!!!
Peach: Wha......, *she turns to see her once hero, bearing down on her*
Peach: Aaaaahhhhh-
????: Chaos Control!!!! I got him. Get her out of here!!!!
????: Right!!

*they disappear, leaving a furious Mario*

Lucario: It's gotten stronger! I have to hurry!! *uses Quick Attack*

*Lucario arrives, noone's there......just a large crater ingrained in the fields scarcely covered with flames and smoke*

Lucario: What happened here? Was there a battle? No I would have sensed another. Where's Mario? Too many unanswered questions.

*takes off again*

Hey guys, my internet is acting real crazy now so as soon as possible, I'll get chapter two posted.

Side Note: If you don't like it please only vote accordingly. I don't reply to post/thread I don't like. I don't lower my respect for that person or myself by degrading them with negative comments. Sometimes it takes alot for someone to write on the forum hoping for good feedback. Thank You
