The ruins of my life.
Where my tormented soul lies.
Where I struggle for survival, desperately longing for rescue.
A lone, welcoming hand reaches out in the dark.
I know it's just a mirage upon the desert floor.
I cry out in misery and agony.
They tell you not to give up, to keep hope.
They don't understand.
Noone could.
I am tortured with overwhelming grief.
Its unbelievably immense strength holds me down.
Its sinister eyes glaring at me.
The fangs of reality sinking into my severed throat.
The stinging, forever enduring pain, constantly reminding me of my misery.
I'm trapped.
There is no exit.
My soul is unrepairable.
I open my mouth but words can't come out,
My throat is too dry.
Yellow-eyed vultures wait impatiently, hovering in the air above my head.
A blazing hot desert wind courses through my fragile body.
It won't be long.
