People help i need a WEP key but i dont know how to get one can anyone help me??

The WEP Key Is found Within Your Wireless Routers Settings.

Stop assuming things.

I assume you use a router.. Do you know your router's ip address?

Actually it is. If you're stealing someone else's wireless, you need to ask them what their WEP key is and hope they're nice enough to tell you. If it's yours, just ask one of your parents or if it hasn't been changed, it sometimes says it on the bottom of your router.
EDIT: Whoops, I thought you were the thread starter saying we didn't need to know where you got the wireless. Sorry.

the information not needed was my ip address for my router.. the person that started this thread is fishing for wep keys

anyways im outta this thread.. seems like a bad idea

I think your overestimating this persons computer knowledge. I think he's just some kid who tried to use the internet with his new DSi but was shocked to discover that in order to connect he needed a WEP key code. This 'kid' having absolutely no idea what WEP keys are or how wireless connections work came here to friendcodes to ask people what WEP keys are and how to get one.

In Regards to micky's posts.

The guy/gal might have a locked wireless connection like I do.

Which The Ds will not connect to the internet without the WEP Code.

Nor will the pc for that matter.

I highly doubt the person is fishing for WEP codes because:

a: You need to live near a person and be able to see their wireless connection to connect to it.
