Announcing Pokemon Black & White Weeklies!



As Pokemon Black/White has been out for well over a two months now, I believe most of you Pokemon players out there have had more than enough time to get those Pokemon all trained up for some constant competition! So I now feel the time is right to announce The Pokemon Black/White Weekly Tournament here on FC for all Black/White players to attend. These tournaments will run every week on Fridays most likely, until the end of every month where I will host the big monthly tournament. Depending on constant turnouts will determine if I will include prizes for the winner of these monthly events such as WiiPoints, given this is a Nintendo based site.

Consider the weekly tournaments to be a chance for you to check and see how far your team has improved, what you need to brush up on, and have some Pokemon fun on your Friday night along with the other users here. I know many of you may be thinking, why not just do this using PO? (Pokemon Online) The reason I am starting off with B/W and using the DS console itself is because most new users, as well as many users that are already here come here looking to play with their games they've spent money on, and want to play on their DS, not PO on their computers. This does not mean that I'm completely pushing PO out of the box, I've been notified about it by a few users, and I will consider it but I do not have a set date when I'll be able to host a tournament due to other Events I need to attend to.

Tournament Info! (Please Read)

The following contains this weeks tournament info for this weeks tournament. Please read everything so this can go as smooth as possible. Thanks ^_^

Date/Time of Weekly #1: Friday May 27th 6:00pm Central Time

Bracket Type: Single Elimination

Where?: Here on FriendCodes.com

Games Played: Pokemon Black & White

Sign Up Deadline: Friday May 26th 9:00pm Central Time

Sign Up Limit: 30 Entrants

Must have at least: 10 Entrants

Rules (Must Read)

- Users may have up to 6 Pokemon or less in their Teams

- Rules: No Restrictions

-All Legendary Pokemon are "Banned"

-All matches are best out of 1, with Finals being best 2/3

-All contestants should be here by 7:25pm CT!

-I will be posting the bracket matches here on the Forums as well as announcing them in the xat chat for faster match-ups and for the tournament to run more fluently.

-All users who sign up please post your Pokemon B/W Friendcode along with your in game in game user-name.

- All users have 8minutes max to get their matches started, failure to do so may result in a DQ, I do not want to keep others waiting. So again Please be here and ready on time!

- The winner of each match must let me know they are the winner so I can continue with the bracket.

- Users that do decide to use the xat chat for tournament purposes only, please be sure to make sure your chat user-name is your friendcodes.com user-name so I do not get confused along with others.



That's about it, I must say please schedule your Friday accordingly if you are attending before you sign up, so we will not have to be waiting on you or have to even edit the bracket. Everyone may sign up here and I'll be looking forward to seeing you all on Friday!

Well since there have been really no sign ups today, I'm going to hold this off until next Friday. Please sign up if you have a good idea of your availability. Bi-weeklies is a better idea, but I think I'll switch to that in June.
