It took more than half a year and approximately 5,100 miles. Sailors know transiting the North Pacific Ocean on a big ship is no picnic, and these two men did it in a 25-foot row boat.

They arrived at the Golden Gate Yacht Club on Friday morning a little skinnier, hairier and smellier than they started. They began their journey in Japan and ended it at the Golden Gate Bridge.

After that, Martin and Dawson gratefully accepted a tow to the Golden Gate Yacht Club where friends and family from Canada, England and the U.S. were anxiously waiting to welcome them back.

The two men are experienced ocean rowers, and they have crossed the Atlantic before and said that it was nothing compared to this.

"The North Pacific is the most hostile, fantastic, beautiful, worst, best place you can go to," said Dawson.

"About 15 knots winds, flat calm seas. We've seen everything from cargo ships and fish and whales charging at the boat," said Martin.

In fact, they ran into currents and winds that threatened to blow them off course and set them a few days behind. They said they almost missed San Francisco because they hit a current that pushed them south and they had to row to get back up.

They were able to get a meal afterwards, and now they are looking forward to getting some sleep. They said that on average, they would sleep about two hours every night and then take take 12-hour shifts rowing.

With that plant down, there is now a shortage of Eggos at the supermarket freezer section. The shortage might even last until next year. How will we shall ever live without Eggo waffles? It is not like we can simply make our own waffle batter mix and pour it onto a waffle iron; that requires too much work. This is one of the biggest travesty of the year along with the chicken wing crisis earlier this year.

The devices we are planning to devolp are the following:

1. Wrist band controller: This is a simple, easy to wear device consisting on a wrist band with integrated (really small) cameras that can keep track of your forearm muscle movements and translate them into a finger/hand movent pattern (a mapping between forearm muscle movents and finger/hand movements). It wirelessly connects to a gaming console/pc and using accelerometers/gyroscopes can track the hand/arm position in a 3D space.

The point of such a divece is to provide a more natural way to play your games, without beeing restricted to the game controller area (for ex. you can move your fingers to pull a trigger of a gun, move your hand to reach and throw a granade, make stabing moves while using a knife, etc...).

2. A special set of clothes with integrated electrical muscule stimulators positioned in particular areas of the body to stimulate specific groups of muscules in your body. The idea behind this is to make your body "feel" for example, fire weapon hits in a first person shooter gama (such as Call of Duty), punches in a fighting game, etc.
