Xbox 360 Arcade?

I'm thinking about getting an 360.
What's the point of the hardrive though?
I'm not planning on downloading a ton of stuff, so would the 256 MB thing be enough just to play games and play online?
And do you guys think it would be worth getting one now? I'm afraid if I get one they'll announce something new :eek:

You still need to save games, which will take up a lot of data. I have a 20 gig and almost 7 games have made it full.

Just like on any other system, game saves are in the kilobytes. So that means that it's take just a few games to make ONE megabyte.

Still, XBL Data takes up a lot of space, so it's not recommended for just a little memory stick. But if you just want to play all the great single-player games (Dead Rising, Blue Dragon, ect.), then this is still the best deal you can get.

I'm guessing you don't have a 360, since most people who have a 360 know that almost every game takes up a gig or more, even more with live.
