I have asthma, yet I have a very strong immunity (I eat food that was sitting on the floor for more than a few hours, I sit next to a bunch of sick people in school in gym, and I have to deal with my dad who works as a respiratory thereapist at work who is exposed to it EVERYDAY).

True. I live in So Cal., and they had to shut down a high school for a whole week because of one measley case of H1N1.

It's regarded as a serious issue because unlike other variants of influenza, it typically targets healthy middle-aged women (correct me if I'm wrong) and teenagers. It's really no different than your standard seasonal flu, and certainly not more deadly.

Which is why America is completely stupid and paranoid over a different strain of the common flu.

And the victims that it inflicted the most pain on were small children and elderly people. But teenagers are at risk too.

In Australia, everyone laughs at people who are paranoid about H1N1, it's become somewhat of a joke here.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, H1N1 is just a mild strain of AVR.
