Well... if we must take folks into consideration...
1) Claire Redfield, she's tough, reliable, still a sweet girl and probably could use a laugh and a helping hand from time to time... As long as I keep her happy, her brother Chris won't beat me up. :)
2) Princess Daisy, too bad she'd be taken if she were IRL, but let's say if I could... She's spunky, athletic, tom-boyish (so she'll be up for a lot of games with me), and well... if she could TALK that'd be awesome and she'd probably share dry humor or weird humor like dead baby jokes... who knows?
3) Rebecca Chambers, same as number one but not as tough as Claire is (it runs in the family) and at least I won't have to worry of Chris judging me, HOWEVER I have to worry of the competition... yeah, Resident Evil fans know... I'd have to worry of WESKER rather than Chris... doubt that's much of an improvement. :(
4) Samus, as cliché as this is, I would love to be side by side with Samus even in the heat of battle, I'm a fighter at heart and I know she could DEFINITELY use some reliable company who can keep her entertained, I love to make people laugh and love to share stories, as quiet as Samus is, as independent, I would love to be there for her when she needs help, Ridley and all sorts of crud totally screwed her up as a child and she deserves something to help brighten up her days (as cheesy as that sounds). I just hope I won't be a huge load on her because that'd be bad.

I would say Princess Zelda as well but knowing Link and Ganondorf, I'm good as dead if I tried to score a date with her.

Except it's the fact that they're from a video game is already a huge turn-off for me.
