Well, it probably isn't a problem of whether she likes it or not. It's just that she could very well be in Texas during that time.

Anyway, I know this sounds like a REALLY dumb question, but should I bother getting her an Xmas present? I mean, I really like her, but my mom always says that giving two gifts in the span of a month will make the receiver feel uncomfortable. If I am, then I'll probably get her a plushie or something. A ring in a small blue box wouldn't hurt either :P
