My Ritzy Date with a College Girl

Well, a few days ago, I went on a date with my girlfriend (we haven't been able to do that really since March, since she's REALLY busy). We went to this one fancy steak place near us called the Wildfire. It was pretty fun, but sort of awkward as well.

So we sit down, and I tell her that I'm ordering off the kids menu , since I "don't need the calories". Yet she nearly forced me to go towards the adult menu, even though she weighs about 20 pounds less than me.

After about a half hour of talking about snow, journals, and french fries, I gave her a very... interesting gift. It was a special self-sterilizing toothbrush. Being sorta OCD, she thought it was the best thing I could possibly get her, and was impressed that I paid the whole $30 for it (GASP!).

So where was I? Oh yeah, we had dessert (well, SHE had dessert, I passed), and then we ALMOST made out, but she then told me that kissing is really gross. I paid the bill (it was about $135, but all but $25 I could pay for with my Reward Card) and we went home. When I asked her when we should go out next, she said that we should wait "a little bit", since she didn't want to "drive my parents insane". Sort of disappointing, but I guess we all need some limits, even when you're a ladies' pokemon like myself ;)

Now that we got all that planned out, do you guys think this date was a success?

shoulda got her a rose instead...........

All I can say about that one is that Mom knows best, and you should probably listen to her.

I think you should get her a plushie. My old boyfriend used to buy me ugly dolls.

(They're weird but I like them) :]
Don't get one of them for your girlfriend though. It might creep her out.

As for your mum saying all that. Don't listen to mums. They're silly. It's Christmas. A girl's gotta have a present.
