Well, I just found this when looking through the archives of FC.com:

Mark this date on your Calendar. Saturday, May 26th. This is the day a new FriendCodes.com is born. A FriendCodes.com that makes it even easier to organize WiFi games and meet new friends. I won't go into much detail on the changes that will be made because our developers really want to surprise everybody, but I will say this. May 26th, we put the Friend back in FriendCodes and once again become THE Nintendo WiFi Community.

Well, my question to you is that my join date is May 27th, 2007. So does that mean I was literally 1 day too late from seeing the site as it's Red and Black mode? O.o

i think my memory is decending lol,
i almost thought it was still blue, but they are right, on may 27 i couldent beleve my eyes, it was exactly the same as 2 years ago, but with game rooms rofl
