Story mode does as a matter of fact have replay value. I played through it once alone, again with a friend, doing co-op. I still enjoy going back and playing certain stages throughout it.
WiFi a horrible addition? Again, your opinion. Why did I stop playing Melee? Nothing to do. Just because it didn't live up to your standards of being "Lag free" or something, does not mean that it isn't a worthy addition. Having WiFi has broadened the online gaming communities horizons, it's EXTREMELY popular! Where would brawl be without WiFi?
Again, no need to explain further, as the rest are your opinions, I know I have a lot of opinions as well, but I back them up with facts, and the peoples reactions I've heard and seen. IMO.

I underllined all your mistakes, and will let you know why they're mistakes.
First of all, they're not just Coolza's opinions. They're opinions shared by many competitive Melee players who had to adjust to the absence of hitstun, absence of L-canceling, random tripping, and slower, more floaty physics.
The addition of wifi itself isn't bad, but there could have been a lot more put into the game's wifi, like leaderboards and scores. Why don't I play Basic Brawls? Because they're pointless. Lag doesn't allow for skill to be shown. I've been working hard on my Zelda and Sheik lately, but nobody will be able to see how well I've mastered Zelda's spikes. Why? Because of lag. People won't be able to see the Sheik footstool combos that I've been practicing as well. Why? Because of lag. There are some people that are so bad at the game that they enjoy the lag because it brings the better player's skill levels far down because they have to adjust to different levels of lag. However, I will agree that Brawl wouldn't be played much if it weren't for wifi.
Lastly, facts aren't other people's opinions/reactions. Facts are proven. I could round up a few competitive Melee players right now and they could tell you the same things I'm telling you. Then I'd be doing the exact same thing; backing my statements up with reactions from other people. Also, never EVER finish your argument with IMO. That completely killed whatever point you were trying to get across.

I guess I'll explain my answer then. =_=
I like Brawl because belivile it or not, I was never competitive in Melee. In fact, I never even known about the advance techniques or the tiers till 07.
The chars are un-balance imo. Most the the charaters I like end up mid to low tier. I used to main DK till brawl. And I can never get the advance techniques right. I'm not use to the whole button mushing dual. :/
The mutiplayer is also an issue. Even if I became pro, I can never find a good match-up. Most of my friends are either too busy with myspace or one of those "wiis/gcn r 4 gheys" people. =_=
And for some reason, I find 64 more fun then Melee.
Well, I hope you Melee vertens don't have a problem with this. I don't have to like Melee better, right?

Nope, but tiers don't matter, and I wasn't competitive when I first got Melee, still had fun with it, it was for both Casual and Competitive.. Vrry hard for Brawl.
Again, it doesn't matter if you like Brawl more, but when people say that's it better, I get to arguing.
