The Official "How-to-pwn" guide.

I wrote the review, I might as well follow up with a how-to guide then, yes? Take it from me, a SimCity DS guru, and you will have the best town ever—besides mine of course. ;)

SimCity is a series of which you are the Mayor of your own city. In your city, you can build whatever you want. But as you read on, you will learn that there's more to SimCity than just building stuff.

All Zones = Heavy zones.

Keeping a balance of Residential, Commercial, and Industrial zones is very important. If you have too many Residential zones and not enough Commercial zones, the citizens won't have jobs!
A good R.C.I. balance is 8 Residential zones to every 3 Commercial and 1 Industrial zone(s).

Residential & Commercial Zones tips & tricks:

Your first idea would be to just randomly place zones here and there, right? You can do that, but it often results in low population and high pollution levels. For the best results, stick to my method. Residential and Commercial Zones NEED good land quality to grow. That means avoid placing them by Industrial Zones and other high polluted areas.

As you can see, I make my Residential Zones only 9x9 and surround them with Water Fountains. The Water Fountains raise the land quality, making the Residential buildings be bigger than normal. The biggest 9x9 building holds about 4,000 people, and that is very easy to achieve. The Industrial Zones require no special treatment; they grow to largest size regardless.

Pros & Cons: +Land Value, +Commercial Demand.
Gift: Medical Research Lab
Population: Year has to be past 1999, and have 80,000 people.
Cost: 75,000
Pros & Cons: +Land Value, +Health.
Gift: Center for the Arts (Only 1)
Population: 100,000
Cost: Free?
Pros & Cons: +Land Value.

Q: Does it matter which advisor you have?
A: Some-what, each advisor specializes in a different field.

Q: I have a huge red block in my city's pollution graph, is my game broken?
A: No, that is an area where a Nuclear Power Plant exploded, it doesn't go away.

Q: How do I get more people?
A: Build more high-class zones, or just zones in general; remember to keep the R:C:I: Balanced!
