Calling someone you like back?

I just watched my foster brother call a girl he likes back. She called and left a message saying that she just broke up with her boyfriend, wanted to hang out, and stuff. He got so nervous about calling her back and actually wrote down what he was going to say then chickened out and did a text instead. The funny thing about this is he is like worshipped by the girls at school and is cute (if I may say so myself! *sigh*) so the fact that he was even nervous was a shock to me.
So when someone you like asks you to call or you have to return their call or anything do you get nervous before hand and do act like he did or do you keep it cool and just call without planning anything?

I personally don't get nervous or anything and I'm not exactly a pretty girl in my oppinion so guys probably wouldn't be thrilled over me calling but I figure the worst that could happen is I get shot down.

Anyway, I just call them. But then again I don't get nervous. :P

I do get nervous to be honest,
I guess im a shy guy *not the character*
But if a girl calls me to hang out, i end up going but i get there and dont talk much, im not as shy when im with my friends though.

i think its an age thing. when your young and in school, you have to worry about getting shot down and EVERYONE hearing about it. when you grow up a little, you realize that being shy is cute and all, but in the end, it gets you nowhere. just take a bite and see how things taste.

Yes like Kayzee said us guys get a hecka nervous, and yes I do get very nervous.

I remember the first date, my hands were sweating a lot and so much, I didn't even hold the girl's hand.

Wait, you call then hang up? Don't you think the person would think you were like prank calling them? Also, people have Caller ID and would probably be wondering why the heck "Yuuki Smith" keeps calling and hanging up. Ha! Just saying. But really I guess you are shy and lots of people are, it's okay. =]
