My problem with anime resides in it's imported nature. Most japanese humor I just don't understand, and most scenes don't get to the point, they just go on for entire episodes or chapters about some love relationship. Nothing really gets done, it's just the same gags over and over again. Anime and manga got way too repetitive way too fast for me. I was going to turn into a narutard, but after a hiatus without my computer, I quickly realized the fact that the show's not really about ninjas. It's about some convulted plot we have all seen a thousand times. It's not just the popular animanga either. I could pick a random graphic novel from a catalouge and get the same shitload of boy wants girl, with the tiniest litttle amount of action possible sprinkled in. I can't say that I hate it. I loathe it.

Nice opinion you got there. I agree with you when you say it is repetitive. What about movies, books, TV shows, even video games. All of this is repetive. We rarely (nowadays) see inovative, non-repetitive stuff. Because you have to grab some ideas from something, it's just the way it is. Everything is repetitive, even your daily life. Fortunately there's various anime types, and some have great story. Anime plot is generaly deeper than TV shows' plot. As I've said before, love triangles aren't everything there is. And altough it gets repetitive, the story is never the same, the characters are never the same. And I guess you can see the same actors on TV shows. Voice actors are the same, but that doesn't matter x_x'

I see where your coming from, many anime/manga do focus a majority of their time on "love". Its not my favorite part of of the whole, so most of the time I try to look past it.~

Yes, most things that are repetitive I hate. Even a slight resemblance makes me cringe. I think that I would make a great critic. ;)
