Do you believe this kid should die? OR do you believe he is capable of redeeming himself? (If so, what could he possibly do to redeem himself)

With that said:

1. Do you believe its true that games us violent? Why or why not?

2. Is there anyway to NOT make things like this happen?

A1: I think if you're willing to kill for game, you need to die as we don't need people like you killing over dumb ••••.

A2: I don't think there's anyway avoid things like this.

He deserves to die. It wasn't accident, he had it planned out and everything. He had bad intentions so he should be killed.

I concur! The world would be better off without people like him killing over the most trivial things.

Another death don't bring back that person. Sorry, murder doesn't justify another murder. He should have every right to exist, whether it be in a concrete cell or not, as everyone of us.

It just shows that people in the world are idiots, and will kill their parents for a $60 disc.

He was gonna kill his dad, too- that's the funniest part. He was willing to completely orphan himself (isn't he like 16 or 17?) just so he could play Halo.

I play CoD4/5 all the time, and I have Halo 3 as well.

Guess what? I'm not violent at all. (Sometimes I beat my younger annoying brother up, but I've been doing that since before I owned video games, much less violent ones, and I'd still never kill him.)

I think people just always want to find something to blame people's actions on. Right now people want to blame video games.

That kid's just not right in the head, that's all. If not Halo 3, any violent movie or something would have spurred him to kill someone.

I've head of this before. He left the house without his parents knowing and somehow bought the game. He came home and they saw it so they locked it up in some safe. Then he somehow opened it, took the game and a gun. You know the rest. And I believe he shot his dad's leg.

What an idiot.
