So I Don't Have a Bed

I came home from work, and I found out that the mattresses of my bed were donated to my mom's friends. Of course, we have a spare single mattress and bed frame; I just don't want to assemble it now.

Additionally, this is not the first time something of mine was given away. I once went outside to take out the trash after I finished making my breakfast only to discover it was being fed to the dogs. Unguarded food, the greatest taboo.

When I got my new bed set, we gave my old one to my younger cousin and I slept on the floor for a week since Ikea is the devil and I couldn't assemble it. Turns out we where missing as many parts as we had extra.

In reality, my mom donates a lot of stuff because she cares about people despite the latter's reputation.

When I was getting my new carpet, they ripped out all the old stuff, only to find that the new stuff had stains all over it. Took them a month to deliver new carpet,in that time we had no furniture at all. We slept on the floors, and went out for dinner every night.

looking back, a hotel would have been a good idea.
